Course Description:

This course addresses five areas of study for Serv-safe: basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross-contamination and allergens, controlling for time and temperature of food storage, and cleaning and sanitation.  The certification can be taken online or at a designated area by a proctor.  The ServSafe Alcohol Online Course provides the fundamentals of responsible alcohol service by combining interactive exercises, audio and video and role-play activities to help prepare participants for real-life scenarios.  Among other aspects, students learn how to serve alcohol responsibly.
