Course Description:
Risk Management and Liability introduces students to safety systems management and the principles of planning and administering a risk management plan for a recreation agency or business. Students will apply their knowledge of legal responsibilities as practitioners to selected case studies involving legal issues in the recreation, adventure travel and ecotourism fields. Students will design a risk management and safety operations manual for a selected business or recreation agency. Pre-Requisites: REC 105 Recreation & Leisure in the US.
