Complete Withdrawal and Non-Attendance Policies

Federal aid recipients who stop attending and/or withdraw from all of their courses without earning any credits will be subject to Return of Title IV (R2T4) calculations. Students earn a portion of their federal financial aid every day they’re enrolled so students that do not complete at least 60% of the semester may be required to repay some of their federal aid. Students who withdraw or stop attending their classes prior to the end of a semester without proof of mitigating circumstances will lose their Paul Smith's College funded awards and Federal Student aid eligibility for their next term of study. Federal Pell Grant recipients that do not commence attendance in a class, may end up having to repay a portion of their grant.
