A student who withdraws from a course after the fourth Tuesday of the term will receive a grade of “WP” (withdrew passing) or “WF” (withdrew failing), unless the student simultaneously withdraws from the College. In that case, a grade of “WD” (withdrew) is issued for all courses registered for in the term of withdrawal. Dropping below full-time status may have an impact on the student’s financial aid and the ability to remain living on campus. Students are encouraged to speak with the respective offices prior to dropping a course(s) to determine how they will be impacted.
Upon written recommendation of his or her advisor, a student may add a course through the first week of classes at the beginning of the semester. (The add period will be prorated for courses offered in other than full semester formats. Exact dates are available from the Registrar’s Office.)
