Exercise, Fitness and Conditioning

Course Description:

An introduction to the six components of fitness: cardiorespiratory and muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, body composition, and motor skills.  Students will complete various exercise modalities and training techniques.  In addition, students will develop the basic skills to evaluate each component of fitness and will practice constructing a cardiovascular, muscular strength and endurance, and/or flexibility program(s) based on a fitness assessment.  Proper athletic attire required.
