Library Services empowers the Middlesex College community with the skills to find, evaluate, and effectively use quality information resources through drop in, 1-on-1 consultations, online chat, and group instruction. As a collaborative, technologically rich, accessible, and welcoming environment conducive to learning and research, we seek to bridge academics with the creative, social, and cultural life of the community. Our services, tools, and resources support the curriculum and lifelong learning.
Along with books, magazines, DVDs, and textbooks on reserves, the College Library offers access to online databases. Available on and off campus, these databases include journal articles, reference works, newspapers, books, and streaming media. Materials can be borrowed from one of the 39 local county libraries and the global interlibrary loan network of thousands more.
Hosting the largest number of computers for student use anywhere on campus, the Library also provides printers and scanning/copying capability, as well as wireless access throughout our building. Areas for quiet individual and small group study are available.
