Generally speaking, a student’s application and credentials are evaluated after transcripts from all universities attended have been received. In all circumstances, an official transcript is required from the most recent institution attended. In addition, official transcripts are required from institutions from which a student wishes to transfer credits. Mercyhurst reserves the right to require an affirmation of good standing from a prior institution. In addition, associate degree-seeking students and students with fewer than 24 college credits completed during an academic year at another institution must also provide a high school transcript or a GED diploma or certificate and other substantiating scores.
For more information about policies related to transfer credits, refer to the Transfer Credits section of this catalog.
