Algebra II Bridge, MAT-095, is an accelerated course that provides individualized, differentiated instruction with selected skill sets based on periodic assessments of the student's strengths and weaknesses. Intermediate algebra topics include: a review of elementary algebra, the coordinate plane and functions, linear equations and inequalities, properties of lines, systems of linear equations, polynomials, rational expressions and quadratic equations. A minimum grade of "C" is required for advancement to a subsequent Mathematics course such as MAT-123 or MAT-129.
Appropriate score on the College Placement Test or Departmental Approval.
