Federal Work-Study Program

Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a need-based financial aid program in which eligible students work part-time while enrolled at Middlesex County College on campus or in off-campus centers in New Brunswick, Perth Amboy and The Center for Civic Engagement. (Bonner Program)

Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each academic year. The Financial Aid Office uses the student’s EFC from the FAFSA to determine a student’s eligibility for the Federal Work Study Program. Students must contact the Career Services Office in Edison Hall-Room 100 to inquire about work study assignments. Each student considering the Federal Work- Study Program will complete a MCC work study application and receive instructions on the interview process before being referred to a working assignment.

  • Award amounts vary by year based on available funding.
