Course Description:
The capstone experience will focus on intensive scholarly study of a specific topic in history. Each student will also research and create a documentary-style film incorporating both primary and secondary sources, on any topic of their choice. In addition to studying a specific topic students will read and develop an understanding of the historiography and the principal interpretation related to the topic. The Senior Project will ask students to develop a mastery of the historical process in terms of assimilating historical ideas, as well as producing a documentary film of their own.
