Course Description:
Special Topics courses will cover specialized content in European history not available in the regular curriculum. Courses may be offered as a regular class or as an independent study. As an independent study, in conjunction with a cooperating faculty member, students select a topic of study to pursue independently and intensively over the course of a term. The participating faculty member meets weekly with the student to discuss assigned readings as well as written materials prepared by the student as part of course requirements.
