Course Description:
An introduction that provides students with the foundational skills of the academic study of religion in order to apply them to an increased understanding of the role of religion in contemporary society. The course presents a broad overview that will provide students with a foundation for topical courses in the religious studies department as well as the ability to engage religion thoughtfully and knowledgably in other disciplines.
