Course Description:

Upon completion of the course, students should understand and competently plan, deliver, and assess students in the levels of K-12 in various areas of technology. The prospective teacher will be able to plan instruction based upon knowledge of subject matter, students, and the community and curriculum goals. They are able to reflect on and continually evaluate the effect of choices and actions on others and actively seek out opportunities to grow professionally using advanced technology methods. Included in the course are pertinent evaluation methods and school law. The class shall require the certification candidate to demonstrate knowledge of and competency in applying the fundamental concepts of computer and information technology necessary for teaching at the elementary, middle, and secondary levels.
