An applied course in which students will learn the basic skills involved in the helping relationship using a three stage model of exploration, insight and action. This is an advanced level class and students should have a solid background in understanding human behavior. Students interested in exploring the helping professions will benefit from developing confidence in their fundamental helping skills.
