Course Description:

This course explores many of the key legal and policy related aspects of cyber law, the most rapidly changing area of law today. It examines fundamental questions about the role of the government and the private sector with respects to regulating and protecting computer networks and information technology. Topics include cybersecurity, specifically national security aspects of the cyberdomain, cybercrimes, cyberterrorism, constitutional and human rights issues in cyberspace, e-commerce, intellectual property issues in cyber space, international perspectives on cyber law, and dispute resolution in cyberspace.
