Course Description:
The existence and prominence of international organizations (IOs), such as the United Nations, in today's world is a remarkable achievement of modern diplomacy. In this course we will explore the interworking of several prominent international organizations that transformed the global political landscape since the end of WWII. Additionally the students will engage in diplomatic role-playing activities simulating the functions of IOs. Students will engage in individual and team research and participate in intercollegiate competitions.
