How to Apply

How to Apply

PCCC offers open and rolling admission to applicants. Students are encouraged to apply at least one month before a semester begins to provide ample opportunity for processing, placement and program selection.

Students must complete an Application for Admission online. Students can receive assistance completing their application in person at 225 Market Street, Paterson, New Jersey 07505-1179, the Passaic Academic Center, the Wanaque Academic Center or by calling 973-684-6305.

Required Documentation
Applicants are responsible for submitting proof of secondary school completion such as official high school transcripts, high school equivalency test results (GED, HiSET, TASC ) or General Education Diploma (GED) scores. Immunization records and college transcripts should also be sent to PCCC. We recommend that high school transcripts, test scores, and transcripts from other US colleges or universities be submitted electronically. If a student would like to submit a physical copy, PCCC will require the documents remain sealed and therefore official copies.

Secondary school educational documents in a language other than English must be presented along with certified translation. Course work completed outside the United States, for which there are transcripts for university-level course work, must be evaluated by an independent credential evaluation service such as World Education Services, Educational Credentials Evaluators, Globe Language Services or Josef Silny & Associates. An official copy of the evaluation should be sent directly to the PCCC Office of Admissions.

Admission to Competitive Programs
Students are notified of their acceptance to PCCC by email. Acceptance to the College does not guarantee or imply acceptance into selective programs including Nurse Education and Radiography. Applicants interested in these programs are encouraged to view special admission requirements. Contact the Office of Admissions or the program staff directly to obtain specific entrance requirements.
