Dual Enrollment is an opportunity for high school students to earn college credit through concurrent enrollment, early college, and/or high school students taking college courses during school or outside regular hours (hereinafter referred to as dual enrollment).
PCCC partners with several area high schools where high school students have the opportunity to earn college credits outlined by an articulation agreement while they are still enrolled in high school. Students taking college-level courses at their high school participate in concurrent enrollment classes, which may result in the ability of the student to fulfill both college and high school degree requirements simultaneously.
Whether a student is participating in a concurrent enrollment class or dual enrollment class at the College, they are considered a PCCC student. All PCCC students are responsible for adhering with the rules and regulations of PCCC. Students and parents must understand that enrollment in courses will generate a permanent PCCC transcript.
