Graduation

Graduation

Students must apply for graduation. The application should be filled out before registering for the final semester. Applications and information are available through self-service or at the Registrar’s Office.

The annual Commencement ceremony is held at the end of the spring semester. However, students completing their graduation requirements in August or December will have their degrees posted to the transcript shortly after completion. All graduates are expected to participate in Commencement exercises. Only students whose eligibility for graduation has been approved by their academic department and certified by the Registrar are permitted to participate in Commencement activities.

Students must meet all requirements of their academic program, as stated in the official copy of the College Catalog at the time of matriculation. Students must complete at least one-half of credits required in their major at Passaic County Community College. Students intending to graduate must notify the Registrar.

Former Passaic County Community College students approved for Reverse Transfer must fulfill approved equivalent requirements at the partner college or university.
