Environmental Studies Minor

Program Codes: ESM
Minor

The Environmental Studies minor is attractive to students in baccalaureate programs who wish to gain an enriched understanding of critical environmental issues and their socio-cultural implications. Forestry, Natural Resources and Recreation students might desire additional courses in the humanities and social sciences to supplement their technical degrees. An Environmental Studies minor could be a valuable addition to a Hospitality or Culinary Arts student interested in ecotourism, green management, or the environmental dimensions of the culinary sector. Similarly, science and business majors could benefit from an Environmental Studies minor to provide critical cultural and historical context to their program studies.
