Course Description:
This course addresses project management of diverse activities. The course offers a practical approach to managing projects, focusing on organizing, planning, and controlling the efforts of the project such as budgeting, time management, staffing and resource management. The course will focus on aligning project goals and strategies with organizational strategic objectives and culture. Students will establish and evaluate measures of success, quantify value commensurate with costs, optimize the use of organizational resources, and consider risk management. Prerequisite: MGT 200 Principles of Management or PSY 110 Organizational Psychology. Completes General Education Requirements:QP-I, AR-I.
