Course Description:
In this introductory calculus course, students will use practical problems to develop the concepts of calculus. Students will gain an appreciation of the usefulness of calculus to a broad range of applications. The concept of a function, including polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric, the derivative, applications of differentiation and the definite integral will be covered. Prerequisite: MAT 180 Pre-Calculus or appropriate Accuplacer placement score. Completes General Education Requirements:QP-R, LAS
