Course Description:
This course focuses on beer as a saleable product after the production phase. It provides an overview of the growing beer industry with topics ranging from the practical elements of marketing, promotion, service and profitability. These areas will be presented from different perspectives as they relate to a range of sectors within the industry. Potential career in each sector of the industry will be highlighted and punctuated with guest lecturers and trend topic discussions. Prerequisites: MKT 200 Principles of Marketing and MKT 305 Advertising & Promotion and HOS 315 Practical Brewing.
