Course Description:
This course provides students with an introduction to the physical landscapes of the earth as seen by the geographer. It views the physical landscape as consisting of landforms, climates, and biomes, and provides students with an opportunity to understand the interactions among them. All three features of the landscape are presented as evolving over time; consequently, students will be introduced to dynamic processes associated with geomorphology, meteorology and climatology, and ecology. (3 hours lecture). Completes General Education Requirement:AR-F, SC-F, LAS
