Course Description:
The first of a two-course sequence concerning the discussion and practical training laboratory application of the skills needed to practice arboriculture. Material covered will include tree physiology, tree surgery, tree removal methods, fertilization, and general maintenance practices of shade and ornamental trees. (2 hours lecture, 6 hours lab). Prerequisite: FOR 120 Insects and Diseases of Trees or permission of the instructor. Completes General Education Requirements for: AR-R
