Course Description:
This course provides an introduction to study of the science of inheritance, and will include exploration of the molecular basis of inheritance, DNA technology, structure and behavior of chromosomes, genomics, transmission genetics and the basic principles of molecular evolution and population genetics. (3 hours lecture). Prerequisites: BIO 102 Biology II. Completes General Education Requirement:LAS.
