Course Description:

This independent seminar provides graduate students with an outlet for criticalanalysis of, and special assignments related to research and best practice inthe field of educational leadership and educational reform from a systemicperspective. Students must make an explicit link between application andcurrent theory and research in the field of leadership and educational practicesand policies. Projects in this Seminar should extend beyond the classroom, intoanalysis of school or district programs and policies. Student enrolled in thiscourse may pair with a specialized mentor in the field. Extensive and in-depthfieldwork (60 contact hours minimum) is required.
