Course Description:
An in-depth examination of issues surrounding chemistry and biochemistry research. Students will learn about how research is conducted and how to best prepare themselves for carrying out independent research projects. Students enrolled in this course will learn about: searching and reading the primary literature, advanced safety protocols, issues surrounding research ethics, and communicating science in written and oral formats. Corequesite: CHEM 412. 2 credits.
