Course Description:

The course is designed to provide students with experiences that combine learning goals and community and cultural engagement in ways that enhance student growth and build connections with the diverse human needs and interests that make up the world outside the university's gates. Through approved programs in study abroad and/or service learning, students integrate meaningful interaction with others whose experiences differ greatly from their own with instruction and reflection in order to achieve real objectives for the community and deeper understanding and skills for themselves. Must be taken prior to ETH 400.
