Course Description:
This course is designed to explore artistic methods and materials that lend themselves to psychological reflection, insight and use in therapeutic settings. Through art therapy experientials, discussion, historical reference, service learning opportunities, and assessment of acquired knowledge, the art therapy student will realize the factors that can encourage therapeutic art making. Prerequisite: ARTH 125. 3 credits.
