Course Description:

The Catholic Church has been tremendously challenged by the contemporary phenomenon of globalization. It has been forced to confront pluralism and diversity as irreducible realities within its own life and tradition, and to confront new ethical and spiritual challenges that have arisen due to the economic, social, and cultural impacts of globalization. This course will examine the experience of globalization within the tradition of Catholic Christianity in terms of both these internal and external factors.
