This course focuses on the mechanistic and evolutionary causes underlying animal behavior. Topics covered in this course will include; communication, predation, foraging, dispersal, mate choice, parental care, and social interactions. Students will consider each topic through the perspectives of genetics, evolution, development, neurology, and physiology.
