Scholarships

Scholarships can play an important role in offsetting college expenses, but unfortunately to many students fail to apply because they believe they will not qualify. The Middlesex College Foundation awards funding to over 450 students each year. Our scholarships come from a variety of sources and donors, and are awarded based on very diverse eligibility criteria. Most students qualify for consideration for more than one scholarship.

Middlesex College Foundation’s mission is to help students open doors to their future with financial aid, scholarships and educational resources. Our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to achieve their personal, academic and professional goals.

Middlesex College Foundation provides more than 150 scholarships and awards for students at the College. Available scholarships include both merit and need-based scholarships, and are issued as a financial credit to your tuition and educational expenses at Middlesex College. Since 1967, Middlesex College Foundation has distributed more than $18.5 million in scholarships, financial aid and grants to more than 18,500 deserving students. The scholarships are funded by private donations from individuals and organizations in support of the College's mission of providing an affordable, accessible, quality education.

The completion of the Free Application for Student Financial Assistance (FASFA) is strongly recommended since many scholarships determine eligibility using the FASFA. Middlesex College's Online Scholarship Application portal is available on the College’s website https://middlesexcc.awardspring.com twice a year (April and October). Scholarship applications are ranked using award software and many are reviewed by Review Committees. Final awards are administered by the Financial Aid Office.
