Business Information Systems - Transfer

Associate in Science Degree

The Business Information Systems Transfer curriculum will allow students to complete courses at Middlesex College that will meet the first two years of the Bachelor of Science Degree, Information Systems Option, in several local four-year institutions such as Kean University, Montclair State University and New Jersey Institute of Technology. The students will complete 63-66 credits at Middlesex College and the remaining credits at the transfer institution. The transfer will be seamless with no credit loss or duplication. 

Program Outcomes:

Graduates of the Program will be able to:

  • Design, develop, and implement information technology-based solutions for business problems. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the underlying infrastructure of information systems and computer networks. 
  • Structure, collect, and analyze data to support business operations and strategic decision making. Identify business problems, frameworks for their solutions, and use appropriate problem-solving techniques for business problems. 
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders in written & verbal forms.
