If you are interested in becoming a content creator- either for traditional publications and/or for social media, then the Honors Program is perfect for you. By working in a small class setting, the honors experience engages you in the latest scholarship, creative thinking and other essential professional skills. Those skills will prepare you to thrive in a job market dominated by artificial intelligence and software automation. After taking honors courses, students can say to employers, transfer institutions, or scholarships committees, “I have created…” instead of “I could do…” Honors courses are not more time consuming than traditional courses. It is not more work, but deeper. Members of the honors learning community have access to study areas, priority registration, specialized advising and mentorship. Course offerings satisfy graduation and/or general education requirements for all associate degrees.
