Academic Advising

Students should meet with an academic advisor each term to review curriculum requirements for their majors and to discuss problems that may interfere with academic success. It is the student’s responsibility to meet all curriculum and College requirements.

Full-time students can find the name of their assigned advisor through their Self-Service account. After logging in with their NetID and password, students can proceed to Student Planning. Once in Student Planning,  they can proceed to “Go to Plan and Schedule” and then click on the third tab “Advising” to find the name of their assigned advisor.

Advisors may refer students to a counselor in the Department of Counseling Services when appropriate.

Part-time students may meet with an advisor in the Academic Advising Center in West Hall on a drop-in basis.
