Financial Appeals

Students may file a written appeal for an exception to tuition and fee refund policies with the Tuition Appeals Committee by submitting the completed Appeal for Exception to College Policy Form to Enrollment Services.  The Tuition Appeals Committee will consider appeals in the cases of serious physical/mental illness or injury to the student/immediate family member, death of an immediate family member or military service requirements.  The Committee requires that proper supporting documentation be submitted with the appeal.  The Committee meets approximately every month and the student is usually notified of the Committee's decision within 20 business days of the meeting in which the appeal was reviewed.  The Exception to College Policy Form is available in Enrollment Services and must be submitted within 30 days of the last day of the semester being appealed. Appeals received after 30 days of the last day of the semester related to the appeal or without adequate supporting documents may not be reviewed/approved.  For questions, visit Enrollment Services to obtain the papework or email Tuition_Appeal@middlesexcc.edu
