Federal Work-Study Program

Federal Work-Study Program

Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a need-based financial aid program in which eligible students work part-time while enrolled at Middlesex County College on campus or in off-campus centers in New Brunswick, Perth Amboy and Democracy House Center for Civic Engagement and Community Service.

An eligible FWS applicant must meet all the federally required regulations for need-based programs. The Financial Aid Office uses the student’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC) from the Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) results to determine a student’s eligibility for the Federal Work Study Program.

For more information regarding FWS program, please contact the Financial Aid Office located in West Hall on the 2nd Floor or visit the Federal Work Study website.

Award amounts vary by year based on available funding.
