Course Description:

An upper intermediate level course that integrates reading and speaking skills. Students will augment academic vocabulary with understanding affixes, and develop paraphrasing and summarizing skills. They will be able to discuss their responses to the readings with increasing clarity and precision. A "C" is the minimum accepted grade to move to the next level.
