Course Description : An introduction to the functioning of the human body; a survey of selected body systems in health and disease. There will be discussions and written assignments concerning human biological issues from both historical and current perspectives. Laboratory exercises (without dissection), audio-visual materials, computer simulations and current readings are included. Recommended for non-science majors.
