Graphic Arts: Traditional

Course Code: ART-219

Course Description : Introductory Graphic Arts is explored through the practice of two traditional and evolving graphic techniques, including the processes of mono-printing, collography (collage graphics) and the similar methods of woodcutting and linocutting. Technical control, basic pictorial concepts and an awareness of the cultural application of the mono-print and the basic relief print are emphasized. A materials fee and a field trip are required.
