The purpose of the General Education program is to ensure that graduates develop competencies that enable them to analyze and evaluate information, think critically and independently, and be informed and articulate. The General Education program at Middlesex County College meets the goals and criteria established for community colleges in New Jersey and the courses are organized into the following categories:
General Education courses are included in each degree program and noted on the program outlines and in course descriptions included in the catalog. In addition to these general education courses, discipline specific and other degree requirements are included in each program.
